Large Format Workflow

What are peoples recommendations for generating large format 3d from Dimenion CC.

I'd like to create a large format banner for an event we are attending and not sure how best to generate the asset from Dimension.

Would you size the Dimension canvas as per a large format or are there other ways to achieve this?

Thanks,
Kris.

Hi Kris,

As you're looking to generate a large format, you just need to render it in a higher resolution. If you render a small image then zoom in it will become blurry/pixelated.

In Dimension you can change the render size in Design Mode. Select the Environment in the Scene Panel In the properties Panel look at the top section titled Canvas Change the "Size" property to whatever pixel resolution you want.

For example, if you need a 300 dpi print at 10" that would be 3000 pixels. You'll need to figure out the best pixel size you need for your particular project and then change the canvas to match.
