Mixamo Model FXB imported into Dimesions always in T-Pose

Hi,

I cretaed a quick Model in Mixamo where the character is pointing up. I exported the FXB model and when I import it inti Adobe Dimensions it is in the T-Pose and not the Pointing Pose.

I imported the Mixamo file into Poser Pro 11 (after th eBlender hack to make it import properly) I exported it as an FXB file and it still goes into Dimensions in the T-Pose.

Hoe do I import the FXB model into Dimensions in the correct Pose?

@Macnimation

you can't put Fuse characters into a enterprise account because things in that account belong to the boss... not you and Adobe is not allowed to do that with Fuse

have fun with poser mate

1, Photoshop can't open a Fbx file

2, if your library is not compatable then you prob have an enterprise account... the work around is to make a personal Adobe account (free and just needs an email) to use Fuse

step 1 = upload to cc library

step 2 = use your browser to download as Psd file... if you don't have a personal account with Photoshop then use your enterprise account to open the Psd from there mate

A complete waste of time when Adobe is supposed to be about workflow. Why should I need 2 Adobe Accounts when I am paying for an Enterprise Account?

Have to log out of my Enterprise Account to run Fuse, making Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects nad Premiere Pro etc which are open most of the day unusable until I log ouit of the personal accoutn and then back into my Enterprise Account. I stopped using Fuse and Mixamo and use Poser Pro now for my models.

you have to pose the character first in whatever software (I use Photoshop) then export that... here is an older example vid of my workflow

May I ask you how did you import the FBX model into Photoshop? I can't find a button for is. I tried to do it differetnly, so I saved the fbx and tried to open in with Photoshop, not working. Tried to import it into my CC libraries, not compatible. So my question is, how to do this without Fuse? Back in the days I could save my models from Fuse to the CC Libraries, pose and than export them so I could use them in Dimension. Thank you for helping!

Yes, it is a bit of a mess. Adobe seem to be trying to prevent better workflows rather than improving them, especially if you use an Enterprise Account. They seem to think Enterprise users will not want to use Fuse, Mixamo, Dimension and Photoshop together!!!

What I had to do was, create a free "standalone" Adobe ID account. Upload the Fuse model to the standalone account Cloud from Fuse or even Mixamo.

Then go into my Standalone Cloud account online and create a share folder where the Fuse Files are kept and share it with my Enterprise Account.

Only then can I open my Enterprise Account Photoshop, open Libraries and see the Shared folder where I can then import the Fuse File.

I hope this helps.
