New To Adobe Dimensions CC 2018

I'm new to dimensions and wondering why when I open the program it doesn't look like any tutorial I've seen on you tube. Am I missing something or have I done something wrong. Please help.

because you have an old build before they added parametric models and text... it also looks like the scene failed to rendor so there is a Gpu issue on your end.

 

is this system @ a school without CC installed perhaps?
