Dear Adobe Stock Support,
I hope this message finds you well. I recently conducted a thorough review of our free models library and identified several non-working items. To facilitate a more efficient process for everyone involved, I have compiled a list of these models and shared it in the following link:
https://shared-assets.adobe.com/link/89e6e894-5297-445c-63b3-9736fb8e65c8
Many of these models have played crucial roles in our past projects, and it's essential to have them available again for future work. I kindly request your assistance in addressing these issues and reinstating the models to the library as soon as possible.
If you require any additional information or specific details about the models in question, please do not hesitate to reach out. I am more than willing to provide further clarification or assistance as needed.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. I look forward to a swift resolution so that we can continue to benefit from the use of these valuable models.
Regards,
Mark

Obj is a very old and very simple format. Thirty years ago, I've written programs to convert other model files into .obj file format. So support for .obj file format should not be the issue. As the objects did work, I suspect that the files themselves have changed. There is no reason to believe that models work and suddenly don't work, but other model files still work. This is most probably an indication that the model file itself got modified somehow. In all circumstances this is not a stock issue.

I will transfer this request to the Dimension forum, where you may find more qualified answers.

If files are changed, how comes that I've re-downloaded those model from Adobe Stock and still cannot import/use?

Could please try one [with latest Dimension] of model listed and tell me your results.

Thanks.

Hi Abambo,

Thank you for your attention to my issue with Adobe Dimension 3.4.10. I've uploaded two screenshots to illustrate the problem I'm encountering. The error message I receive is: "Unable to Import Model. To help diagnose the issue please send a description and the file to tickets@adobedimension.com. Learn more about supported content."

Here's an update and further details on the situation:

1. Unresponsive Support Channel: I've already attempted to reach out via the provided email (tickets@adobedimension.com) but, unfortunately, there hasn't been any acknowledgment or response to my queries.

2. File Format Compatibility: The models in question are in the .obj format, which is supported by Adobe Dimension. These models were functioning correctly in previous releases of the software. It seems that a recent update to Dimension might have altered how these files are processed or recognized, leading to the current import issue.

3. Other Models Work Fine: It's worth noting that I can still import and use other free models available from Adobe Stock without any problems. This suggests that the issue is specific to the .obj models I'm trying to import.

Given these points, I'm at a bit of a loss. The lack of response from the official support channel and the specificity of the issue with certain .obj files is quite puzzling. I'm hoping for insights or suggestions from the community here, especially if anyone else has encountered and resolved a similar issue.

Thank you in advance for any help or guidance you can provide!

Best regards,

Mark
