.OBJ file won't load - Unable to Import Model

I downlaoded an .OBJ file from Turbosquid but am getting an error message when I drag and drop "Unable to Import Model". I'm not sure why this would happen as OBJ is a file format accepted by Dimension.

Thank you in advance for your help!

This file eas a stock model from Turbosquid, so I am unaware how this file was created.

May be the reason is that  Adobe Dimension can open 3D models with polygonal meshes. It supports various 3D model formats such as .OBJ, .FBX, .STL, .SKP, .GLTF, .GLB, and .USD1. However, it’s important to note that Dimension only supports polygon geometry, so non-polygonal models like NURBs and curves cannot be imported1.

Can you share your OBJ to test (via any cloud)?

Adobe Dimension can export/import obj file, but there is a problem with your file for Dimension as well for Adobe Stager. I am not able to open it.But I can view it in Microsoft 3D viewer and Adobe Modeler.

Can you try this:

  1. Create a simple object in Dimension.
  2. Export that object as OBJ from Dimension.
  3. Then try to re-import the created file into Dimension.

It must work.

How was created your file?
