Outlining Logo wording

Hello Team, 

I have taken a step back and I am creating an alternate logo version in AI. Im adjusting the 3D and material settings so that it stands out better against certain color backgrounds.  Then, when I use Dimension, I have one or two versions of my logo to choose from based on the background being used. 

Please chime in if you feel their is a better or more efficient way to accomplish this.
