Poor rendering quality of text decals?

Hi there!

Whenever I use any text loaded decals, I am quite disappointed with the rendering results. See the screenshot. Left is part of the input file (a PS made PNG), right is the rendering result (quality setting high/slow).

Check the poor appearance of rendered characters C and O especially.

What can be done (by me) to improve this?

The most easy way is to render PSD and correct it in PS. That is known issue in Dimension, and is hard to enhance quality.

Well, thanks. So, let’s assume that Adobe is busy fixing it. For there’s no way to achieve any photorealistic render quality using decals at this point 😞

Dimension is now not in focus. Now Adobe Stager is on roadmap but it need sepearate Substance Subscription.
