Problem importing OBJ file with graphics

Hi, I've been using dimensions for a few months and previously I could create a model with graphics applied and then export the model. When I imported it into a different document it kept the applied graphics. However now when I import the model, it appears blank and looses all graphics and effects I had applied to it. Is there any way to fix this?
