Problem with applying the material to the text shape

Hi! I need to apply the material specifically to a part of the text shape, but the program doesn`t allow me to choose one of the four options. All the options are constantly highlighted, whatever I do. Please help me with that! Could it be a matter of updating? I look at a lot of people who have problems after that.

Thank you.

This indeed looks like a bit of a buggy state.  The regions of the text are supposed to remain selectable even if they have the same material applied to them, but right now if you have the same material applied to all regions, they all become selected automatically meaning you can't replace them.  I will file a ticket to see if we can fix this.

Thank you for your answer!
Please contact me when the solution is known.
Also today the panel of material properties has disappeared, even in relation to the glyph or other shapes, as can be seen in the attached screenshot. Is it also a bug?

It works for me after converting text to standard model as expected.

Thank you for your answer!
Yeah, but converting to a standard model involves changing a specific glyph, but also without the possibility of selecting specific parts of it. Besides, today the panel of material properties has disappeared, even in relation to the glyph or other shapes, as can be seen in the attached screenshot.
