Shrink wrap sleeve mockup

I am trying to use a model of a bottle and place my image around the entire bottle including the neck and cap. I'm not using the decal I'm using the wrap feature. But is placing the image in multiple areas. The cap, the neck, the body and then the bottom. I'm assuming this is because these are the shapes to make the bottle. Is there a way to "join" these shapes so the finished price appears as a shrink sleeve has been applied to the bottle including the cap?

materials are listed in your starter assets and you can filter them [see image arrow]

for the sake of example lets say your bottle is currently set to metal and you use the magic wand to select all the outside edges [holding shift will add to a selection] then you press the plastic material with your mouse

so now the inside of your bottle will be metal and the outside edge will be plastic

p.s, i should also point out that you can find and download more materials from Adobe Stock, some of witch are free and those are clearly marked

I can change the material, say to Brass and it's forgiving enough to look ok. You can still in the reflection the different shapes from the UV Map. I can then add just a stock image of a checkerboard, and get it to look OK from the ring down facing in one direction, but a peak at the back shows how the "decal" is not "wrapping" correctly. The last image is the tmplate I have been supplied by my customer's printer. Showing the flat die line then a rendered bottle. They using different software to create that render as it dimentionaly accurate to the bottle. I'm trying give a quick and dirty concept. But it appears too challenging to simulare a full shrink wrap.

Yes depending on what software was used to create the model, I have noticed that myself, when I created a model of a bag of chips in Blender, it will not wrap around totally.
I have tried it in Adobe illustrator's 3D and Material and it will wrap around providing you made the 3D bottle in Ai.

but not sure about in Dimension. Hopefully we shall find out.

I'm trying to understand the situation

the bottle could be in two shapes; the cap and the bottle, or one shape. Therefore if everything fits in the whole bottle including the cap, then it's all in one model. To get around it, place the graphic on the bottle and size it stop before the cap, then bring another graphic

its the way the Uv map is made yes... i'd use the magic wand to select all the [outside edge] bottle and give it a new material... this step removed the inside edges from need coverage and will give a better rendor

then apply your design and set fill as you tried before but then export that Uv map to photoshop and adjust the design by eye

the model you have looks to be a gap between the cap and the bottle... i'd consider using a model that has the 'plastic' wrap already done or make it myself

Thanks for confirming the issue. I'm still learning, I don't understand how to make a model myself.

I'm not sure sure how to make a new material, I know how to select the outside edge with magic wand, but missing how to give it new material and get a different result. Ive exported the UV map and looked at it in PS but again, don't understadn what I'm looking at. I need to take more tutorials.

I'll try to explain with Screen shots.

I have a grid built for a bottle modle I found in Adobe Stock. I want the grid (in this case the Stripes to gon completely to the top to the cap.

Image One: the grid placed as decal, and the image stops at the neck of the bottle.
