Unable to open document bug

My beloved Adobe Dimension (Version 3.1.1.) refuses to re-open saved documents. After restarting the application it does not want to open documents that are saved before restarting the programm.

 

I tried re-installing, re-downloading, and of course several re-starts. This problem appeared out of nothing! I sent a mail as requested to tickets@adobedimensions.com but the mail was refused. 

 

I found out that a similar bug was mentioned in Aug 2019 (see link below) but was fixed. Seems that its quite the same. Pls help asap, we need a solution in our agency!

you can share a Dn file by zipping it first then placing in Adobe cloud or you could use one of the 3rd party softwares like 'we transfer' & 'dropbox'

 

without the file I can only guess that your system storage is making the files corupt

1. I'm using windows 10.

2. I uploaded a testfile which I cannot repopen, same as the others.

1. are you using Windows or Mac?

2. can you share one of these Dn documents that will not open for you so it can be tested?

 

yes that bug report is old and yes the issue is still popping up from time to time

Hello, 

I tried both on Windows and MacOS. (both latest versions of both CC and OS).

The file is 110mb so I don't know what would be a convinient way to share it?

 

Also, the files that normally would open are not opening anymore - I get "Application restart needed" all the time and then I can't even click "OK" and it crashes - this happened on Win10.

Same here. 

 

I just lost majority of my work before important deadline tomorrow. I'd like to say that this software is doomed.
