Unable to Save Error (remote synced folder)

Hi!

I can't save my Adobe Dimension file. For context, I have this 3D model downloaded from Adobe Stock that whenever I duplicate or put an image as decal, this error prompts whenever I try to save the file. It doesn't load & I need to end the task via task manager.

My app/device specs:

  • Updated Adobe Dimension
  • Windows 11 Pro
  • AMD Ryzen 7

Thanks for sending log files. Team will review it.

Did you try to save it on local drive not into remote synch folder?

Boa noite!

Here is some tips. If you're running into issues with file names in Adobe Dimension, like files not saving properly, errors during export, or strange behavior when opening documents, you can try:

Common File Name Issues & Fixes

1. Special Characters or Long File Names

  • Problem: Dimension may struggle with file names that include symbols like #, %, &, or are excessively long.

  • Fix: Rename your file using only letters, numbers, underscores _, or hyphens -. Keep it short and simple.

2. Saving to Synced or Cloud Folders

  • Problem: Saving to folders synced with Dropbox, OneDrive, or Google Drive can cause intermittent failures.

  • Fix: Try saving to a local folder like C:\Users\YourName\Documents\AdobeDimension.

3. Windows User Profile Corruption

  • Problem: Some users found that Dimension fails to save files due to issues with their Windows user profile.

  • Fix: Creating a new Windows user account resolved the issue for one user.

4. Permissions or Admin Rights

  • Problem: Lack of write permissions in the target folder can block saving.

  • Fix: Run Adobe Dimension as administrator and ensure the folder has write access.

5. Temporary File Handling

  • Problem: Dimension creates temporary files during save/export. If this process is interrupted, the final file may not be created.

  • Fix: Avoid switching folders mid-save and ensure your disk isn’t full or write-protected.
