Hello, I am trying to bring the performance of my website up and need to minify our typekit CSS. Does anyone know how I should do this when the script comes from Adobe?

Here is the error:

Thank you!

Only one font, but between that and Mailchimp, we're losing about 1 second on mobile (which is significant if we're trying for under 3 total).

Google Page Speed is a recommendation, not a defacto web standard.  I'm not losing sleep over this.  I don't think anyone should.

If web fonts cause a pain point for you, don't use them.  Use Win/Mac-safe system fonts instead.

Also don't use Google Analytics.  Don't use Facebook. Don't use Twitter.  Don't use anything except very minimal CSS styles on your domain landing page. Think white rice in a snow storm.

Hi Nancy, this is good advice but unfortunately I'm working on the behest of my clients who are requesting these Core Web Vital optimizations, so I cannot forego their brand font because it's a company that is extremely picky about its brand being consistent (fonts, colors, imagery, etc.). Their biggest concern is their mobile page speed score which is tanking in the red between 14 and 30 (100 best).

You can also defer how scripts load until they are actually needed.  See this article.

See below for instructions on how to use Adobe Fonts (formerly called Typkit) in websites.

If you need more help, there is a dedicated Adobe Fonts Community below.

I don't think you can when you are using their embed scripts.  From haing ton a lot of technical SEO like this in the past, is this really a huge blocker compared to anything else that is slowing down the rendering?  How many fonts are you using in a project?
