Dreamweaver is inserting numbers when I input PayPal code
Example <input type="hidden" name="cmd3" />

Should read <input type="hidden" name="c.m.d" value=

Mark Please use the code again on a page without c.s.s template
<input type="hidden" name="cmd2" value=/>

<input type="hidden" name="cmd2" The number 2 should not be there - it should read "cmd"

Mark
Is this code being copied from some where else ?
from my paypal account under buttons
Mark

Please check with Paypal about it as Dreamweaver will no self add numbers to the code.

also you may post your issue here on this link https://community.adobe.com/t5/dreamweaver/ct-p/ct-dreamweaver?&tabid=discussions Dreamweaver forums team will help you out with the code issue

I have checked with Paypal

Code straight from paypal <form action ="<input type="hidden" name="cmd" value="_s-xclick" />

Mark

Please post your issue here , the team will help you out with code issues

from view source on my webpage <input type="hidden" name="cmd2" value="_s-xclick" />

note the insertion of number 2 IE "cmd2" should read "cmd"

  • Why does this matter?
  • I can paste code from other websites that look different when the scripts execute, too. That's what scripts do. They execute instructions.
  • Please describe the problem that you think you're having.
  • Also tell us which version of Dreamweaver.
  • And which operating system are you using?
