Greetings,

I've yet upgraded to 9.0.115.0 and installed successfully. However I noticed videos in fullscreen gives screen such as following scrreenshot:

Screenshot

I have uninstalled using uninstall utility, and reinstalled it cleaner. Problem did not change. I thought it might be problem of my FLV player, so I decided to try on various websites such as infamous Youtube. Fullscreen error was exactly same.

Currently my computer specs are following:
Intel Core2Quad 6600 @2.4 GHz
2,048 MB of Ram
Palit ATI Radeon HD2600 XT , 512 MB video card...
Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit
Screen Resolution: 1680x1050
Tried and got same result on : IE7, Firefox and Opera

It worked perfectly on my virtual PC using Windows XP, however did same on my other friend's Windows Vista. Every animation and video plays perfectly fine as in normal, but fullscreen video is out of question (note: fullscreen audio still playing as well). Problem here is only on Fullscreen and only on Windows Vista and all browsers. However, since I know where controls of player are, I can actually click them by guessing where they are etc. on video player, just no image of them nor no image in video just screen such as above. Also not to mention turning back to original page using ESC key, re-renders entire page (very slowly) on every browser, IE, Firefox, Opera...

I had the exact same problem as SiSLA, point is - its vista, so its not 100% compatable. Think about it right, you have Windows XP which is now running like vista but is stable. Everytime they bring out a new OS it just causes problems because they havent bothered fixing the old one. Hope windows 7 will be better. And thanks would be nice to see a fix :).

    Hi,
same problem here with latest update of flash player 9.0.115,0.

THE PROBLEM IS RELATED TO HW ACCELERATION. If you disable it all work fine, but of course you will use a big amounth of cpu time

This bug is fixed in the new Flash Player 9.0.124.0 (at least for ATI users, who originally reported it... )

    Please test with that version.

The bug is related to graphic card HW acceleration and support for video on Vista.Probably player call wrong directx method. It s not yet fixed at the moment and is an Adobe bug

I'm having this problem too. Vista 32-bit, Firefox 2.0.0.11, 3GB RAM, ATI Radeon 2400 HD Pro, AMD X2 6000+, Flash 9.0.115.0. Diagonal line and a black and white triangle when viewing any full-screen video, just as described. Works fine on IE7 with flash 9.0.28.0. It's extremely frustrating!

same problem here - also solved by unchecking "Use hardware acceleration" in Flash settings. I'm running Vista on an iMac (bootcamp), with a ATI Radeon HD2600 XT.

Problem exists with all forms of the flash player. Standalone, IE7 plugin, etc.

    Same problem here.

    Specs:
Vista Ultimate (RTM and SP1) 32 bit
    Flash version 9.0.115.0
    IE 7, Opera 9.5, etc.
    ATI Radeon 2600HD Pro (1 monitor @ 1280*1024 and 1 TV @ 1920*1080)
    AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual 4200+

Only works when "Use hardware acceleration" is unchecked, but then it runs slow sometimes.

    Same problem here :
    Intel Core2Quad 6600 @2.4 GHz
    3,072 MB of Ram
    ATI Radeon HD2600 XT
    Windows Vista family 32-bit
    Screen Resolution: 1680x1050

    Can't go fullscreen (same triangles).

Very disturbing because i'm on a brand new pc and can't see fullscreen videos !

I can't enven desactivate hardware acceleration, when i'm on a video i click on "settings" then the box is checked and neither the mouse, nor the keyboard can desactivate it.

Is there a setting somewhere (a file or something) that i can change ?

    Thank you !

EDIT: in fact i can't change any of the "Display settings", i can switch on the different tabs but i can't edit their settings ...

As I say on my previous messages, just uncheck "Use Hardware Acceleration" on Flash settings to watch full screen videos. And never buy a laptop or hardware that contains ATI or AMD ever again.

I'm encountering a similar bug. When I go fullscreen, after a few seconds, the flash driver crashes, and stops playing Video (while the audio attempts to stagger on).

Everything works fine if you exit the fullscreen window. I've noticed I don't have this problem in IE, but Firefox crashes, then giving me a vista bubble message saying that the driver crashed, but was recovered.

I think this is a problem with Firefox and Flash making love.

Same problem here, running ATI radeon HD 2600 with a vista laptop. I have noticed there have been no updates lately. If someone could pass the solution on when they find it, I would appreciate it!

I am having two flash problems similar to this. One is on random occations my audio and video will be out of sync while watching flash based video players (megavideo, you tube, etc) and on occation it will only play for three seconds then stop, if i click the progress bar it plays for another three.)
The second problem is the one already voiced, if i full screen a player the image freezes, it does not matter if i'm using hardware acceleration or not. Here are my specs
    Vista Ultimate 32bit
    Quad core intel 2.4 (q6600)
    4 Gigs 1066Mhz Ram
    Abit IX38 mobo
    MSI NVIDIA GT8800 512Mb Ram
Zalman cooling fans in a antec 182 case
24'' samsung lcd using dvi connection

So obviously this problem isn't restricted to ati. What happened adobe? This is really a huge problem and I have heard no solutions for it. This is really hurting your reputation.
