ADOBE IS F* USELESS

ok, no doubt people will say, Adobe is not useless, Flash player 9 is coming soon? How can you say that?
Linux flash player is still on version 7, I have emailed support, used the best language i could think of, asked nicely, used the forums, pm'd people and after a year, NOTHING ... and where is flash player 8 or 9 for linux? no where!!

Now, before you get all randy on my ass ... just keep in mind that i'm talking about a little flash player ... not MX Studio ... if Adobe has trouble porting a proper version of Flash player ...

Why NOT? I'm playing unreal tournament, quake4, i use picasa, google earth, blender, eclipse, firefox, thunderbird, open office ALL of them are cross platform compatible, even, Acrobat Reader so WTF wrong with Flash?

    solutions dude ... that's what i'm looking for, solutions ... maybe a macromedia dev can post something to this topic, maybe you even know one, but there is quite a large linux community that i'm sure would be interested ... heck no one is going to sew adobe over the timelines, but some info would be nice, i'm sure you can see that there is a lot of unanswered questions.

    Novel had a survey asking, which application would people see ported to linux, Photoshop, Dreamweaver and MX Studio scored very high, you can see the results here,

    So I'm sure there is money to be made for Adobe, if you look at the numbers it must surely make sense!

    Jeckyl, there are a lot of linux users who complain about this, it's not just me ... you have to agree that being two versions behind is slacking service! specially cause adobe is the only people doing flash, in my post i have given timelines, things that i did to correct this, i have emailed adobe, i have pm'd some devs, i have scowered the net for forums, in your post you have given no real info, basically you are the one talking utter sh*t ... so rather shut-up, cause at the moment your looking like an idiot ...

Run Wine + Winsucks_version_of_Firefox + Winsucks_version_of_flash, and it works fine. If something THAT crazy can actually function (very stable, from what I can tell, and no performance issue), then it should be a 10 minute deal to just make it right. Truth of the matter is that there is some kind of hidden economy between microsux and adobe that is stopping them from making a version for THE GREATEST THREAT THAT MICROSUX HAS EVER FACED. Microsux is actively working to keep people from switching away from the winsucks platform (not that I blame them) by making it inconvenient to switch.
