Flash 10 Won't Play

OS: Vista SP2 64-bit, hardware DEP enabled

Browser: Firefox 4.0.1

Other plugins: Shockwave (but I see no animation on Adobe's test page)

Java Console 6.0.25

AdBlock Plus (Disabled)

NoScript was totally uninstalled

Adobe Test page reports "You have version 10,3,181,14 installed"

YouTube seems OK, but many, many other sites won't play anything.  The blank white or black window allows setting of Flash Options, so I disabled GPU acceleration.  Here's a site that won't play (in fact, nothing from ABC News plays anymore):

Think I have the same problem as above. YouTube is ok but other sites dont work. Tested with Opera, Firefox on Windows XP 32bit and Opera, IE9 on Windows 7 64 bit. When I open a video the player loads but it wont start streaming the video. This also happened when i tried the link in the first post.

Hi sid, If you don't mind,it would be better to start your own thread. With the IE9 changes to consider as well as needing additional info from you it may get confusing on one thread.

    Thanks,

Hi, I'm assuming you are using the 32bit browser. Also, look in the plugins and make sure the Shockwave Flash plugin is Enabled. This is the control for Flash Player. Is it the same version of FP that you have Installed?

You might as well go to C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash  Open the Flash folder and post back the files listed there.

I don't need any logs, just need to know what is listed there. The NPSWF.dll file you will need to right click on and then click on Properties to obtain the version number.

If you also have Flash Player Installed in any version of IE, then those files will be listed there as well.

    Thanks,
