Hi,

When trying to sign in to NBC Sports Live with my Verizon Fios login on Google Chrome, I get the following SAML error:

https://sp.auth.adobe.com/sp/saml/SAMLAssertionConsumer

Authentication Error

A timeout or configuration error caused this operation to fail. The error has been logged. Please try again.

Details: Show | Hide

Any ideas what may be causing this? I am running an update version of Chrome with Flash 24.

Thanks

This was a post from 2016, and it had to do with a backend problem on the system that TV providers use to make sure you have a valid cable subscription.  It had nothing to do with Flash Player.

If you're experiencing a similar issue, it will likely be discovered and fixed by the operator of that service, but the tech support team for your cable/tv service is probably best positioned to help you out there.

If you have an actual Flash Player issue (the majority of streaming video is HTML5 at this point), the following guide will help you get a good answer:

I'm going to lock this thread.

This is most likely a problem with the content provider, not with Flash Player itself.  You can do a quick check with your browser's Private Browsing or Incognito mode to confirm.

If the problem goes away in private browsing mode, you can probably resolve this by clearing your browser's cookies, cache and DRM content licenses.

What happens if this doesn't solve the problem? Is there a problem with the flashplayer or the content provider?
