Hi folks, I need to add some extra validation at a custom metadata. Let me start from beginning. Swiz framework (http://code.google.com/p/swizframework/) uses metadatas to made IoC. One metadata is this: [Autowire(bean="helloController")] But, if I made any miss-spell, like [Autowire(bean="heloControler")] (forgot the second L) it will produce errors at runtime. What I wanna is to create a validation, to validate this at compile time. I saw on flex-sdk this BindableExtension, who "changes" my actionscript code to make it Bindable. Is there any way to register one extension at flex-config.xml or using a command line parameter? BTW, is extension the right path to follow? VELO

Hi Guys, I'm wondering if there are plans (or an issue on which I can vote) to upgrade flash.utils.Proxy? There's 2 things I'd like to see changed in order of how difficult I imagine they are ;-) 1) Replace name:* and name:String with a real key:* that can be anything (not just Strings or QNames). 2) Modify the VM slightly so subclasses of Proxy can decide when and if a cast opcode throws an exception. Number 1 seems easy to me, but having never seen the source I can't really say :) Number 2 I guess depends on whether or not cast instances are using dynamic dispatch, so it's probably not as feasible... Hi, when I want to report a bug I found in the SVN version of the SDK, what should I choose for the Version in the bug reporting form? Till now I was always choosing "SDK Gumbo Iteration ..." with the biggest number. Dont't know if this is right. Haykel

Is the latest version of FlexUnit only usable for Flex3? I don't see mention of requirements for the new version but I get the following when trying to use the FlexUnit.swc: build.flexlist: [compc] Loading configuration file C:\tools\flex2.0.1\frameworks\flex-config.xml [compc] Error: unable to load SWC FlexUnit.swc: unknown element script found in keep-as3-metadat a section in catalog.xml. In fact we have to extend BoxItemRenderer to do this.

Following another discussion, I was wondering if the Presentation Model pattern, recently promoted by various AC members, should have a place in cairngorm's future implementation, and how. It has been said that this pattern is not directly part of cairngorm scope. I agree with this, however, I wonder if some sort of "guidance" could be implemented. For instance, the CairngormEvent class could have a property representing the PM that dispatched it. One could imagine an IPresentationModel interface (should it be empty), to help doing so. Or an AbstractPresentationModel implementing common behavior, such as handleFirstShow? Please note that I'm not trying to advocate any practice here. I may be completely wrong, as I may have misunderstood Paul Williams and Borre Wessel's articles and slides. What do you think?

Possible values are: * "all" - content is created as soon as the ItemsComponent is created * "auto" - content is created as soon as it is needed * "none" - content is not automatically created. When this creationPolicy is set, you must call createDeferredContent(). The "contentCreationComplete" event is sent when the content has been created. Added IDeferredContentOwner interface. ItemsComponent is the only Gumbo component that implements this interface.
