Hi,I'm developing a flex portal that integrates ui from different providers. Is it possible to do the following? From my main application i want to be able to load modules into a sibling application's domain. Currently I’ve done the following.1.  Used SwfLoader to load a sub-application into a new application domain (as a sibling of main application domain).2.  From the main application used ModuleLoader to load modules into application domain created in step 1.  As a parameter into module loader we specified the application domain of the sub-application created in step 1. The result is that the module loads but its application domain is set to the main application. Any ideas? Thanks,

I am doing a sample app using Cairngorm 3 libs. While I was following the Navigation approach, my app control reaches to: dispatchEvent(NavigationEvent.newNavigateToEvent(destination)); but then it never changed the selected view in my viewstack.

I am using the Presentation Model (PM) to architecture a Flex/Cairngorm application. The implementation of the PM goes fine, except that I am not sure of one thing: how to update your PM properties each time you update your domain model properties. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Examples of the PM can be found through Google but do not cover multi-view applications, or any extended implementation of the PM. Any pointers to extended examples would be most welcome.

I'm in the process of making a multi-language site and I've been looking into using the new text layout engine.One of the requirements is that when the site displays chinese characters it uses the users system fonts and not embedded fonts. I've been unable to get this to work. Here is my test code. It creates a textfield using the textlayout and one using just textfield. Hello,I am developing an application using Cairngorm. My app uses SQL databases.I'm creating a separate event and command for each SQL query my application requires. I end up with many events  and commands - twenty different event/command pairs and I'm not even done yet.I was wondering if this is the right way to go, or if somehow similar SQL queries should be grouped together in the same event/command, and if so, how would I implement that elegantly?I've never used Cairngorm before so I want to make sure I do it correctly.Thank you for your time and any assistance you can offer.

Simply put, I love the fact that Flash Player has a new text engine because the old one sucked and this seems like a big improvement.  However, it would seem to be immensely MORE powerful to combine this new text engine with a CSS parser that actually works right and supports current CSS standards (believe it or not Adobe, the rest of the world uses CSS2!).  That is my feature request! Let me know if you hear of anything, I know others are looking for similar functionality.  Thanks!

I am trying to run FlexUnit RC1 with FlexMojos and it does not look as if the test runner reports back, which makes it realy hard to run the FU tests on a CI server. I have a text flow that I am loading from an external file that has this snippet of xml in it:...<flow:p>     <flow:img styleName="chart" id="fig1" height="250"/></flow:p>...What I need to do is put a Flex chart in place of that image. Hi All,We have meet a odd problem that arabic text will break to muliply lines,They are same sentence I paste into the TLF demo. the second one is break into muliply lines, the symbol(I have no idea what is it calls sheddeh?) is break line. I used different font, first one is "GE modern" and second one is "Sharjah"if there is any conerned about this issues.

I'm working on a foreign language learning program primarily for teaching native english speakers arabic and/or japanese (osbit.research.pdx.edu)Some of the exercises the client wants have rtl (arabic) and ltr (english) text mixed such as the question: "What is the appropriate English equivalent for شبة الجزيرة العربية?"The client would like the arabic text to display rtl even though it is in the middle of a ltr paragraph.Oh did I mention the text needs to word wrap and scroll?I was thinking maybe I could render the text to a bitmap and manipulate it that way.Thoughts? suggestions? is there an easy way to do this?
