1. Can footnotes be formatted thusly?

Using FM9, is there a way to get footnotes to look like the following, where the numbers are right aligned and the text note sharing the same left margin?

    Yes. On the Format > Document > Footnote Properties dialog, add a tab as the prefix. Tabs are specified by the characters slash + "t", as you see in the suffix entry.  Then set the new first tab stop in the footnote paratag to be right aligned and positioned as needed.

    Thanks, but your instructions don't accomplish what I asked for.  Below is a screen snapshot based upon your instructions.

    You're inserting two tabs, but you only have one tab stop defined in your Footnote paratag.
