2 Issues, Parent/Child/External Navigation with Images and Issues with HTML5 TOC

Firstly, i'd quite like to build a document that uses images to navigate through a document, similar to the FM Help website (See attacment for example or open the following link: https://help.adobe.com/en_US/framemaker/using/index.html#t=using-framemaker%2Fuser-guide%2Ffrm_welcome.html).

I have pretty much NO idea how to do this... i don't know if I should use markers or Xref's... some of these images will link internally, within the document, and others will be external links.

I want this to be the primary navigation through the document in addition to the TOC.

Secondly, my TOC keeps burgering itself, it's a proper little hamburgler...

For some reason it's omitting some pages from the document all together (see example).

I recently had to install JRE so i'm wondering if it has something to do with this ?

Regardless, I do need those pages in the TOC, and well, in the document in general.

    Hi,

Please describe your second issue in another post. This makes it easier to follow! Less confusion!

For your clickable graphics you need hotspots. These are explained in detail in the FrameMaker online help. Did you read this and experiment with this?

    https://help.adobe.com/en_US/framemaker/using/using-framemaker/user-guide/frm_graphics_gr-topic_graphics-hotspots.html

I had used this features many years ago, and it worked well.

When you want to refer to another document, the path to this document must always be the same. Often you cannot guarantee this, and therefore this might not work.

For your TOC issue: I see that you use DITA. Please explain this in more detail in a new thread. What exactly did you do?

    Best regards
