I was given a file created a few years ago. This file has over 75 files and each one is missing a few images each. There is an image foldeer with all the images in it. My qiestion is there a way to link all the images back to the files without have to relink each one?

You might also be able to use or create a new directory for the .fm file that would have the legacy path relationship to the images directory.

Put the .fm file (or a copy of it) there.
Once it opens without errors, while open, re-save it to where it needs to be today. It will update all the paths when you do that. I recall having needed to do this at least once.

If you can't do that (for example, the new /dir would need to be above the root of the filesystem), you might be able to similarly move all of the images to a new dir, then save, close and copy the nown-revised .fm file to the new location.

Besides using Frameexperts script, Pathchanger, one can also use another of his exellent scripts, ArchiveEs. It works by archiving an entire book project with all linked images and fm files. When run, you will direct it at a new folder where it neatly will create a copy of all files in the book and generate an image folder for all linked images and another folder for all linked fm files. It's a super easy way to get a grip on a large project with multiple different folders. Muchly recommended!

My PathChanger script was designed to do this. See the store page on my web site. frameexpert dot com
