Abbreviated-form works with HTML5 but not with PDF?

Hi

I have tried to use the abbreviated-form element but all I get is empty place when publishing PDF. But when I publish the exactly same file in HTML5 I get the wanted output.

Is there a limitation with PDF? Or can this be fixed?

Another thing related to this is that I have an error mark in my ditamap, console doesn't give any explanation. See the attached pictures. (After publishing I checked the console again and there were marks "condition settings indicator is inconsistent").
