About spellcheck

I English, you often write 2 words apart. For example "night temperature". In Swedish we write them as one word "nattemperatur". That word consists of 2 separate words: "natt" and "temperatur".

The thing is that "natt" ends with 2 "t:s" and "temperatur" begins with a "t". When you write them as one word, it's written with 2 "t:s".

BUT what if this word needs to be hyphenated and "natt" ends up at the end of one line and "temperatur" in the beginning of the next line? Then there must be a total of 3 "t:s"!! How can I add this word in the spellchecker so it's always correctly spelled, both with and without hyphen?

I guess for that very reason has the German Spelling Reform switched to the 3-consonant-forms:

    Old: Schiffahrt ➔ Schiff-fahrt; New: Schifffahrt ➔ Schiff-fahrt.

Hence again technic superseded culture (Some French claim that there are no upper case accented characters, because they were not possible on early type writers …)

I didn't know that! But I have never studied German... Smart solution. I guess I will have to manually spell check these kinds of words. I was just curious if there was a solution to it.

I've never played with them, but I think there are custom dictionaries and hyphenation settings you can customize in FM.
