Additional footnote references - fix

We are currently adding additional footnote references in FM tables. However, they do not automatically update when new footnotes are added. This causes a great deal of confusion regarding which reference is attached to a certain footnote.

For example, we add a footnote, then add references/link to that specific footnote in other areas of the table. However, when subsequent changes (new footnotes added, etc.) are made the footnotes are not updated.

The cross-references to the footnotes won't update until you print/pdf or reopen the file. You can force an update by choosing Edit > Update References and checking All Cross-References.

I am having a hard time envisioning what you are seeing. Can you post a couple of screenshots? Or can you meet via zoom? Contact me offlist: rick at frameexpert dot com

Sample attached - note that footnote references/links are in superscript brackets -some of our tables have 20+ footnotes; many of these notes are attached to a number of items. These are tagged as "additional footnotes" and a link is added to the associated note. However, when footnotes are added when drafting the document, these "additional" notes (unlike the initial footnote) are not updated.

I don't think I've ever heard of a many-to-one (refs to footnote/endnote) schema. I'm not that suprised that FM isn't updating things because the second reference to the foot/end note would be manually added I suspect.
