Adobe support for Type 1 Fonts going away...help!!

The majority of the FM 2019 documents I work in use 2 particular Type 1 fonts...!! Thankfully, it looks like I can 'simply'(lol) purchase the OpenType versions of these fonts and replace the Type 1 fonts...has anyone had to do this w/ LOTS of documents?? Is this an extremely painful process? Do the OpenType fonts match up exactly when replacing Type 1 versions? FYI, I haven't begun this process yet, but I'm about to dive in...any assistance/suggestions would be appreciated...Cheers!!

Are you changing FM version? I wouldn't think anything would change if you weren't upgrading your version of FM, but I could be wrong on that.
