Adobe XI trial has stopped my use of previous version of Acrobat reader now that trial is over

Now that my Trial period is over  of Adobe XI Pro, I cannot use my old Acrobat reader, nor open any of my .pdf files!!!!!!!!!!!

Need fix.  Reloading Acrobat reader does not seem to fix this issue.

You’ll need to uninstall all traces of Acrobat first, then load the Reader.
