When I try to publish a file to Kindle I receive a message that tells me I need Amazon's KindleGen program. Amazon no longer supports it and it is not available. What do I do?

KindleGen is no longer availabe separately. It's now part of Kindle Previewer.

You can download Kindle Previewer here:

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html?ie=UTF8&docId=1000765261

Once installed, you can find the KindleGen.exe here:

    %AppData%\Local\Amazon\Kindle Previewer 3\lib\fc\bin\kindlegen.exe

(which is your user profile folder, e.g. C:\Users\<YourWindowsUsername>\AppData\Local\Amazon\Kindle Previewer 3\lib\fc\bin

Create an ePUB and use some other tool (like Calibre) to convert it?
