Auto Numbering Issue...

Hi All,

I am building a book. Chapter auto-numbering works fine, I can see it in Running-Footer.

But this Chapter Number is also used in Heading 1. See image below, it is chapter Number 4.

Paragraph Tag Heading 1 is set as H:<n+>\t (image below).

What I want to know is, how can I find the setting for H???

Appreciate any help.

"H" is just the series label, i.e. all paratags that include the "H:" label will increment according to that numbering format. You would need to look at your paratags (typically H is used for headings) prior to the Heading1 in question. Also check your file settings in the books on whether or not the paragraphs restart numbering in each file. This would force the first H:<n+> to be set to 1.
