Batch Books to PDF

Is there a way in FM 8 (or via plugin) to batch export BOOKS to PDF? I have some technical manuals that take about half an hour each to export, so it's quite a pain to create them on demand. Thanks!

I am looking for a similar solution too. Have you found anything yet?

Searching all of adobe.com's articles, I cannot find anything that helps me out with this issue.

My need is simple; an easy (automated) way to make .pdf files from all my .book files at once.

Can anybody point me in the right direction?

Scripting or plug-ins – either written by you or from someone you pay – google framemaker plug-ins – there’s a list of them kicking around

FrameScript comes with a sample script, SaveBookAsPdf.
I suspect you could pretty easily modify it to loop through a set of books.

Same thing if you happen to be running UNIX -- invoking fmbatch or fmprint as part of a script will do it.

On Windows, DZBatcher may work, but I haven't tried it. http://www.datazone.com/dzbatcher2.html
