Book with Portrait and Landscape files - able to save as PDF?

I'm trying to save a book file as PDF - it contains a portrait page that are letter size (8.5 x 11), and two landscape pages that are tabloid size (11 x 17).

When I try to save as PDF, if I keep the page size as 8.5 x 11 in the PDF settings, the tabloid pages get cut. If I change the PDF settings to 11 x 17, the portrait pages are too big.

Is it possible to save the book as PDF with the different page sizes? Or do I have to make two books and then combine the PDFs?

    Hi Luxie:

    You could save the two PDFs independently, as you suggested and then combine them in Acrobat, or you could create the tabloid PDF and crop the letter size pages in Acrobat. Using the Page Thumbnails in the Navigation Pane, you can crop multiple pages simultaneously.
