Build expressions - can I delete unwanted from FrameMaker 9

Hi,

I've inherited documents that look as if conditional text settings have been imported and shared. I have a number of build expressions that are not relevant/needed and they are just causing confusion - but I can't see any way to delete them. Am I missing something?
