Can I use 'background color' feature to create dynamic coloured text boxes?

I'd like to use the 'background color' feature to create dynamic coloured text boxes, but can't see a way of indenting the text without also indenting the background colour.

    What version of FM? Recent versions have support for BG color. Older ones don't.

    What do you mean by "dynamic"? Hypertext? Animated?

    If you don't want the BG rectangle to flow with the text, how do you want it displayed?

    There's a legacy way to implement BG that might meet your needs, depending on the requirements.
