Can't edit text that appears after a series of disconnected pages

I have a 220-page chapter that starts with two pages in portrait orientation followed by 17 disconnected pages in landscape orientation that I carefully added by following a tutorial, which included applying a landscape master page.  I just noticed that I can't edit anything on the disconnected pages (tables) or the 200 portrait pages that follow. I can edit the text on pages 1 and 2.

Also, is it really necessary to have disconnected pages?
If the landscape pages have any content that can be assigned unique paragraph formats, even a made-up Body.LS, those pages can be [re]mapped to LS master pages at any time using the Apply Master Pages feature.
Reference Pahe MasterPageMaps may need to be [auto]created on initial AMP, and then the UnstructMasterPageMaps table populated.

I don't know if it was necessary to add the disconnected pages. I'm new to creating templates in FrameMaker so I've been watching tutorials to learn. I wanted to add a wide table and watched a tutorial that suggested adding a disconnected page for each page of the table and then applying a landscape master page to those pages. Is there a better way to insert landscape pages in the middle of a FrameMaker document? Thanks.

Oh wait, I reread your reply after drinking my first cup of coffee... It sounds like you're saying I could've handled the landscape pages by applying a special paragraph format I create just for landscape content and then tying that paragraph format to the UnstructMasterPageMaps table. I only recently learned about that table and have not used it yet. So when the special paragraph format stops being used on the page, the page reverts back to portrait - correct?

Might it be, that you have accidentally put your content on the master pages? If you go View->Master Pages... can you edit the content? If that is where it is, ofcourse.

Another option might be that the content is rotated. While you should be able to edit it, the cursor might act strange.

Thank you for your reply. My content is on the body pages. It's interesting that you mention the content could be rotated because the 17 pages are rotated via the landscape master page I applied; however, when I unrotate those pages and even delete them, I still can't select/edit the text on the remaining 200 portrait pages. I'm seeing the following symbol at the beginning of the text that can't be selected. The same symbol appears rotated 90 degrees in the tables that precede the text. I should know what the symbol is but it's escaping me at the moment. Does it indicate a different flow?
