Can't save as PDF

I'm using FM 8, and have a book that was created in FM 7.1. I had to change a word in one of the files in the book created in FM 7.1 and now need to save the book to PDF so I can send it to the printer. When I try to do this, however, I got an error message saying it can't do this because it's an older version of FM. I'm wondering if saving the file as mif and then reopening it in FM 8 will resolve the problem. If I do this, will I need to save each file in the book individually as mif or can I just save the whole book as mif? Thanks.

    Nils is correct.

But if you have the master PDF at hand, it may be easier to use the Touch Up Text Tool in Acrobat to make the change rather than convert and rebuild the book.

My understanding is that once you've upgraded one file in a book to 8.0, you'll need upgrade all of them before you can carry on using the book. With the book open, there's the handy option shift + File > Open all files in book; accept the upgrade option for each component file, then use shift + File > Save all files in book and carry on with everything now at 8.0
