Cannot find command "Update References"

Hi, I cannot find the command "Update References" in the Edit menu of FrameMaker 12. Anyone can help me? Thank you Consuelo

Both Update references … and Update book … show up towards the bottom of the Edit menu in my FM12.

Ok, now I understand. I only displayed command "Update Book" because the book was selected.
