Cannot print a book or multiple files in FrameMaker 12

Hi,

I have installed FrameMaker 12 as part of the Technical Communication Suite. I am experiencing the following problems with printing:

Cannot print multiple files

To print a file, the file must be open and in focus (so in the following screenshot I can only print Orca_AcquireLine_Content)

If however I select multiple files from the book...

...then select Print selected Files I get the following error and FrameMaker crashes:

The two selected files are then saved as recovery files.

Cannot print a book

If I select Print Book the correct files in the book are automatically selected (in this example Orca_AcquireLine_DocHistory is set to be excluded from print) however nothing happens

Save as PDF

This option works fine.

Save Book As

When the PDF option is selected this also works fine.

Has anyone else experienced this problem or has any ideas how to fix it?

    What is the FM point version? The latest is 12.0.3. The initial version had an issue when printing from the Book file.

    For creating PDFs, the Save As PDF is now recommended rather than printing to pdf.
