Cannot save a file in Adobe Framemaker 7.1.

I am trying to save a file in Adobe Framemaker 7.1. This file was created by one of our consultants. Unfortunately, we dont have anymore support from this consultant, so I am on my own. I get the following error when i try to save the file after making updates: Cannot lock file <abc.fm> for your use because you do not have write permission.

Please let me know how to resolve this problem.

    Sounds like wherever you’re trying to save it, you don’t have enough rights; try doing a Save As and put it on your local c:\ drive; then see about moving around to where you think it should go.
