Chapter level TOCs

I need to create chapter level TOCs that include multiple files per chapter. Can this be done using groups or folders?

I've done it with a "book of books" concept - create books of your chapter files and then add the sub-books to a master book.

Would this allow the overall book file TOC to include the sub book content?

Yes. The master book will create a TOC of all contained files of the books. However, for the included books, their generated files (TOC, IX, LOR, etc.) have to be updated from the respective book files.
