Question

Click and drag scroll speed is too fast

When I try to highlight some text and I click and drag down below the page, when I hit the bottom of the frame, the screen scrolls so fast it is impossible to stop where you want. Is there a way to correct this? As a work-around, I click at the starting and the shift-arrow to highlight my text, but only after trying it with the mouse first and cussing.

AFAIK, it can't be controlled (unless you a very pokey graphics card and limited memory on yourr PC ).

The easiest way I've found is to enter the insertion point at the start of where you want to select the text, then scroll down to where you want the selection to end. Then hold down the shift key and click at the end point. This will select the entire range from the previous insertion point.
