Does FrameMaker have the functionality or a plug-in to Collect for Output (Quark) or Package (InDesign) the images and fonts used in a file or book?

Does it copy the files and update the image references in the FM docs? Or does it just move the original files?

It does a full copy and update, so the archive versions can be used
elsewhere without any issues.

No.

There is a third-party tool (Archive from Bruce Foster) that collects all of FM's files and referenced graphics, but doesn't do anything about the fonts.
