Question

Collect images Framemaker 7 Mac

I've got an old document in Framemaker and someone wants the artwork for one of the chapters. Is there a way I can export the images that are used? I have to send it over the internet and the whole folder is far too large to send, so I just want the images used in that chapter. I thought Flightcheck might do it, but it doesn't seem to be able to.

I also found something called Archive that seemed to do the trick, but it's Windows only.

Sorry if this has been asked a million times, I couldn't find any info on it which seems odd as I would have thought it a very common question.

You may want to try saving as HTML to see if it'll write the graphic files out for you. But because you didn't provide any details about your install, depending on your version of FM, YMMV.

The "something called Archive" is the standard way to collect them, although I think there are a couple other plugins or FrameScripts available that do roughly the same thing. You're likely to run into the same problem with those, however, because they tend to support current/official platforms.
