Question

configuring XTS - its override doesn't work

Adobe suggests us to use itsrules_override.xml when configuring the XTS file, but I found out the override doesn't take.

I had to modify the rules directly on the itsrules.xml before FM would take the modifications.

Do I missed a step?

    Good morning!

I did not use the XLIFF export yet. And I did not find any itsrules*.* file neither in the FrameMaker installation directory nor in the FrameMaker directory in AppData: c:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\FrameMaker\17\

The online help recommends to use itsrules_override.xml instead of itsrules.xml for these file types: DITA, MIF

For XML you should use itsrules.xml.

    What's your file type?

    Best regards, Winfried
