Creating Tagged PDFs: Can I use the HTML mapping table?

Hello!

So I'm trying my best to create accessible content in our manuals. Our paragraph tags are a bit messy and would require lots of retro-tagging and customization for generating accessible-friendly PDFs. The HTML Mapping Table is exactly what I need in this instance, to map our custom tags to simple HTML tags when read by a screen reader. However, my understanding is that the HTML mapping table is only used when saving as an HTML document. Is there any way, when saving a PDF, that the tags generate based on the information found in the HTML Mapping Table instead of setting the logical order in the Save As PDF > Tags window? Is there any relationship there?

Thanks!
