Currently Opened Files pod and file-by-file confirmation

(FM12.0.3)

I love the concept of the Currently Opened Files pod.

If I specify all-files and then select save-and-close, or close without saving, FM asks me to confirm the save (or not) for each individual file.

Likewise, if I specify all-files and then clear the option boxes for a couple of files in the list, FM asks me to confirm the save (or not) for each file.

Perhaps I misunderstand the intent of this feature.

Does an option exist, perhaps through Preferences, for me to tell FM to omit confirmation from this pod?

(Yes, the keyboard shortcut for confirm-yes or confirm-no is rather quick.)

Best,

What about using the Shift-File commands to save all or close all?

@Jeff_Coatsworth,

Thanks.

That's what I've done until FM12. It works for "all" as you mention. I like that and I use it frequently.

With the pod, if I specify all-files, then clear the option box for a few of them, I've just told FM what I want it to act on and what to omit. So I'm no longer interested in all, but it the almost-all that I specified.

Thus my question about a user preference. I'm pretty sure this can boil down to user preference.

But maybe I don't understand the concept. The pod sure looks good.

Best,
