Deativating Framemaker 11 from other device/s and install/activate onto my Laptop

Hi All

I have an opportunity to purchase a FM 11 software which I am intending to install on an old laptop that I use for writing.

However I need to know how I go about this as I am not sure if it is still active on another PC.

Can anyone help in advising how I do this please?

I cannot afford the subscription of the latest FM.

    I suspect it's going to be doubtful that you can even activate it on the old machine. Adobe deprecated a bunch of their activation servers (see https://helpx.adobe.com/tech-comm-suite/kb/deprecated-internet-explorer-10-with-ims.html for a workaround for new versions of FM/RH/TCS). I would suggest that you contact the FM folks - see https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/enterprise-support.other.html#framemaker for your Adobe Support options. I'd recommend using the tcssup@adobe.com e-mail address as it reaches a team dedicated to Technical Communication Suite products including FrameMaker.
