Disappearing Frame files during PDF generation

I am running FrameMaker v6.0p405 on Windows XP SP3. I use a FrameScript to generate a book and save it as a PDF. On random occassions, during the generation process Frame displays an error that a file is missing. Upon check of the folder location of the file, the file is gone. This happens randomly... not one specific file or book. I see reference to this problem in the Forum archives and also with a google search with no resolutions.

The FrameMaker files are on a network drive which is backed up using Sonic Wall. Could the backup system be causing this?

Hi, Larry,We've periodically had folks report that actually saving FM files across a network (as opposed to just copying/moving after the files have been created and saved locally) can cause erratic difficulties, as can an "overactive" backup system, so there may be two culprits at play.Could your script be modified to save the book & chapters locally and then move it to the network? Perhaps other folks might chime in with some suggestions.Sheila
