dita.map.edd: Element topicref-NOT is defined but not referenced

Hello,

I use conditional text to modify the different dita edds. When I modify the dita.map.edd, save it and import the element definition in the template, FrameMaker complains that the element topicref-NOT is defined but not referenced.
I open the original dita.map.edd (without modifications) and try to find the site/post/stead where the element topicref-NOT is referenced, but I cant find it. There is only one site/post/stead where the element topicref-NOT is defined and I didnt modify this element.

With kind regards,

Nina

i don't understand what you just said.

In the Strucapps.fm

I have

Element(Container):CrossRef

General rule: <ANY>

Attribute list

1, Name: reference  ID Reference Required

I open the Template.xml

File --> Import Element Defintions

Import from Document Structapps.fm

Element Definitions have been imported from the EDD.

Element Catalog Manager Report says

Elements that are defined by not referenced.

CrossRef

what do I do?

Hi Nina...

This element definition ("topicref-NOT") is incorrectly included in the EDD. Feel free to delete the definition from the EDD. It is defined in the EDD but is not referenced by anything (because it's a bogus element), so deleting it will eliminate the error message.
