does Adobe call users using Trial versions

I had someone from Adobe call a user and ask about their Trial of Framemaker 2017. The Adobe rep was able to tell them how many Frame documents were open at the time of the call.  What can Adobe see when we are using their products?

Adobe has no knowledge about how many documents are open in FrameMaker 2017 unless the user shares this information in a conversation with the sales representative.

No information about how many documents, file name of the documents or any content of the documents is shared with Adobe, unless the user explicitly shares this (e.g. by sending a document to Adobe Support via email or sharing it during a screen sharing support session).

Yes, you can expect a call from Adobe sales during a trial period.

However, any information about your machine would come from submitting crash reports (an opt-in event), not from computer monitoring.
